Presidential Infrastructural Development Fund is making progress.

Iamgbolahan gives us a report on three major road projects in the country.

The Nigerian federal government, under the leadership of President Muhammudu Buhari, established the Presidential Infrastructural Development Fund (PIDFund) in 2018. The PIDFund is currently financing three major road projects in the country, namely the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. The second Niger Bridge, The Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano road project, is a 375km long stretch of road that is currently being funded by PIDFUND. This road is the longest of the PIDFUND projects, and will provide much needed infrastructure for the people of Nigeria. The highway is part of the A2 trans African highway, which connects Nigeria to North Africa via the Lagos-Algiers trans African highway. This route offers a direct connection between two of Africa’s largest economies, and is an important part of promoting trade and development within the continent. The highway is a vital part of the continent’s transportation infrastructure, and has a significant impact on regional trade and economic growth.
