King Charles III takes the throne at 73

Queen Elizabeth II passed away on August 8th at the age of 93.

TVC News Nigeria gives us a report about the death of the Royal Monarch.

Queen Elizabeth II, the much-revered and longest-serving monarch in British history, died on September 8th at the age of 93. She was succeeded by her son, Prince Charles, who becomes the new King of England. Elizabeth was born in 1926 to Prince Albert, Duke of York (later King George VI), and Elizabeth, Duchess of York (later Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother). She became heir presumptive to the throne after her father’s accession to the throne in 1936, at the age of 10, following the abdication of her uncle, King Edward VIII.
