Jason Kelce announces his retirement from the NFL after 13 years.

Philadelphia Eagles’ centre, Jason Kelce was in tears as he announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, after a 13-year career filled with immense success. In these 13 years, Jason established himself as one of the greatest offensive linemen, winning everything including the Super Brown LII championship, 6x First Team All Pro, 7x pro bowler and the most consecutive starts in the Philadelphia Eagles’ history (156). He went on a 40-minutes retirement speech, paying tributes to his family , friends, teammates, coaches and other Eagles’ employees.

Super Eagles’ legendary goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama has named the greatest African goalkeeper of all times by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. In his 20-year career, he played for Enyimba, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Maccabi Tel Aviv and most notably Ligue 1 side, Lille. He stamped his place as Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper, helping Nigeria win the 2013 African Cup of Nations. Enyeama was selected as the GOAT African goalkeeper based on his consistent performances for both club and country.

Rasmus Højlund wins February Premier League player of the month.

Just after winning the Manchester United’s player of the month for January, Rasmus Højlund has now clinched his first ever Premier League player of the month for his superb performances in February. The Danish striker scored five goals in four league games, leading United to four consecutive victories in that span before suffering an injury which forced him out in the last game of the month, where the team suffered a 2-1 loss to Fulham. After a slow start, the €75 million striker is already adapting well to the league and scoring goals.

Gil Manzano to be suspended after erroneous refereeing in Real Madrid draw.

Real Madrid looked to have emerged victorious in the clash against Valencia last weekend after Bellingham’s goal in the last second of the match. However, the referee, Gil Manzano failed to acknowledge the goal, on the basis that the final whistle had been blown, causing a raucous ending in which Bellingham was red-carded. After the game, Gil allegedly admitted to making a mistake and reports are now indicating that the Technical Committee of referees have decided to suspend him for number of games.

Prolific Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland has opened up about his future with the Premier league champion. Coming off a treble winning season, as the top scorer of the Champions League and Premier League, he has been linked to other top European clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona. Ahead of the Champions League clash against Copenhagen, the Norwegian striker has revealed that he is in fact happy at Manchester City, debunking claims of a potential transfer from the English club.
