João Cancelo reveals wishes to continue playing for Barcelona.
Manchester City full back, João Cancelo has been on a double Loan spell since falling out with Pep Guardiola last season. After his six months loan to Bayern Munich, he was again loaned out to La Liga side, Barcelona during the summer. Since, he has earned his place as one of Barca’s most consistent players, scoring three goals and four assists in 27 games. He has been very vocal about his love for the club and his wish to help the team return to its top spot. Asked if he would like to stay with Barcelona after his loan spell, Cancelo revealed that he was positive and would like to remain at the club. It is still unclear whether Barcelona will be willing to go all in and make his loan deal a permanent contract next summer.
