João Cancelo reveals wishes to continue playing for Barcelona.

Manchester City full back, João Cancelo has been on a double loan spell since falling out with Pep Guardiola last season. After his six months loan to Bayern Munich, he was again loaned out to La Liga side, Barcelona during the summer. Since, he has earned his place as one of Barca’s most consistent players, scoring three goals and four assists in 27 games. He has been very vocal about his love for the club and his wish to help the team return to its top spot. Asked if he would like to stay with Barcelona after his loan spell, Cancelo revealed that he was positive and would like to remain at the club. It is still unclear whether Barcelona will be willing to go all in and make his loan deal a permanent contract next summer.

Carlo Ancelotti breaks his silence on tax fraud allegations.

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti is presently being accused of tax fraud, on counts of allegedly failing to declare his correct income and while he has denied this allegations, the state prosecutors in Spain are seeking a five year prison sentence for the manager with claims of setting up a confusing system to hide his earnings and evade taxes during his first spell at Real Madrid between 2013 and 2015. Ancelotti has however debunked the claims, revealing that he is innocent and has paid the fine. He added that it was an old story that he hopes is ignored soon.

Athletic Bilbao youngster, Nico Williams has been one of the biggest prospects in world football over the last year. With six goals and eleven assists already this season, Nico is again catching the attention of many European clubs, including Chelsea. Reports indicate that Nico was already on Chelsea’s watchlist even before signing Cole Palmer last season and would be willing to match his €50 million release clause this summer. However, with other Premier League clubs also monitoring his situation, the race is wide open.

Eddie Howe reveals that Newcastle will sign Lewis Hall permanently.

Newcastle decided to sign young talent, Lewis Hall from Chelsea on a season long loan with an option to buy in the summer. The Chelsea full back has since made eleven appearances for the club, including eight PL games and one Champions League appearance. With Newcastle’s management satisfied with his performance and growth, the club is willing to make his contract permanent in the coming months. Newcastle’s manager, Eddie Howe has revealed that Hall’s permanent contract will be agreed upon soon. Chelsea will receive €30 million for the young full-back.

Kobbie Mainoo’s strike against Wolves wins Premier League Goal of the Month.

February was a near perfect month for Manchester United, with four wins and one loss within this span. After striker, Rasmus Højlund claimed the Premier League Player of the Month for February, Kobbie Mainoo’s last minute strike versus Wolves, his first PL goal has just won the February goal of the month award. Mainoo dribbled past three players and buried home a beautiful goal in the last minute of the game, securing all three points for United in a late 4-3 win for the club.
