Erik ten Hag speaks on refereeing inconsistencies after Burley draw.
The inconsistencies shown by Premier League referees have been a talking point all season long. These inconsistencies were again in full display in Manchester United’s 1-1 draw against Burnley on Saturday evening. Antony’s first PL goal of the season was not enough to help ten Hag’s men secure a win and the referee failed to review any of Manchester United’s three penalty appeals. Garnacho was brought down in the box-18 by Sander Berge, with two other handball incidents. Speaking to the press after the game, ten Hag called out the inconsistency in refereeing, noting that “it’s a lot against Man United.”
