New primaries are set as guidelines were not followed by the PDP in Ogun.

TVC News Nigeria gives us a report on the PDP in Ogun State.

The Federal High Court in Abeokuta has nullified all primaries conducted by the various factions of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State. This means that none of the candidates who ran in the primaries will be considered valid candidates for the upcoming election. This ruling was made in response to a lawsuit filed by a group of party members who claimed that the primaries were conducted illegally and did not follow the party’s rules and regulations. The court agreed with the plaintiffs and ruled that the primaries were invalid. This ruling is a major setback for the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State, as they will now have to start the process of selecting candidates all over again.

The task of the judiciaries ought to be continued. It is recommended to start the process of selecting applicants from scratch once more. Because they refuse to act responsibly, you should subject the candidates and the organisations that support them to the strain.
