The Nigerian Army has arrested a serving soldier who was caught selling ammunition to bandits in Zamfara. This is a serious offense and the soldier will be punished accordingly. The sale of ammunition to bandits is a major problem in Zamfara and the Nigerian Army is working hard to stamp out this illegal trade. The soldier who was caught selling ammunition to bandits will be made an example of and will be punished severely in order to send a message to other would-be offenders.
