Police need to change in order to restore public perspective and trust.

TVC News Nigeria gives us a report on a policing workshop in Lagos.

Nigerian police officers are in dire need of better training and resources. The current system is rife with Corruption and abuse, which has led to a decline in public trust. Nigerian citizens are often reluctant to report crime, due to fear of retaliation from the police. This is a vicious cycle that must be broken in order for the country to move forward. Nigerian police officers need to be better trained in order to effectively protect and serve the public. They also need to be provided with better resources, so that they can do their jobs properly. The current system is clearly not working, and something needs to be done to change it. Nigerian citizens deserve to feel safe, and the police need to be held accountable for their actions.
