Bruno Fernandes hints at possibly leaving Manchester United.
Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes signed with Manchester United in January 2020 and has undoubtedly been the club’s best player. With over 100 Premier League goals plus assists, he is the second biggest PL goal contributor since arriving at the league. With United’s new owners planning a major overhaul in the summer, Bruno Fernandes has hinted at the possibility of leaving the club. In an interview with DAZN, Bruno opened up on the prospect of leaving the club despite signing a new contract two years ago. He said, “if you want me to be honest, if I have to think about not continuing in the PL, it won’t be until after the Euros.” This has raised major doubts among Manchester United supporters concerning his future with the club.

Celtics’ Brad Stevens clinches NBA Executive of the Year award.
After bringing together the best roster in the NBA this season, the Boston Celtics’ executive and President of Basketball operations, Brad Stevens has won the NBA 2023/2024 Executive of the year award. Unlike other NBA awards, this category is only determined by the executives of the 30 NBA teams. Brad accrued 101 votes, including 16 first placed votes, finishing way beyond Oklahoma City Thunder’s Sam Presti who finished with 47 votes. With the addition of Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porziņģis, the Celtics were able to finish the regular season with the best NBA record and have now qualified for the second round of the playoffs.

Bayern and Madrid draw as Dortmund beats PSG in CL semi final first leg.
The first leg of the Champions League semi final witnessed intense football and thrilling results. Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich were held to a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena, all thanks to Vinicius Junior’s brace. Both teams will have all to play for as they prepare for the second leg at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium next week. In Borussia Dortmund’s clash against Paris Saint Germain at the Signal Iduna Park, Niclas Füllkrug scored the only goal following a first half counterattack to put Borussia Dortmund one foot in the Champions League final. PSG will be hoping to secure another comeback as they face in Paris next week.

Ralf Rangnick turns down Bayern Munich’s managerial proposal.
Austria head coach, Ralf Rangnick has decided to turn down Bayern Munich’s new managerial offer and continue his role as Austria’s coach. With talks in place, the former Manchester United’s manager was heavily touted to replace Thomas Tuchel. Rejecting Bayern Munich’s offer, Rangnick said, “I am the Austrian team boss with all my heart. I really enjoy this task and am determined to successfully continue on our chosen path.” He would be looking to attain major success with the national side in the upcoming Euros.

Manchester United confirms Jean-Claude Blanc as new Chief Executive Officer.
The arrival of Jim Ratcliffe has heralded major footballing changes within Manchester United. While the club is planning a major player overhaul in the summer, there has been huge outgoings within the club’s management. In a newly released statement, the club confirmed that the Interim Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Stewart and the Chief Financial Officer, Cliff Baty will be leaving the club at the end of the season. Jean-Claude Blanc will replace Patrick Stewart as the club’s CEO until Omar Berrada’s arrival on July 13th.
