Al-Ittihad striker, Karim Benzema has opened up on his dip in form since moving to Saudi Arabia. Signing a three year deal with the club after leaving Real Madrid, the Frenchman was expected to hit the ground running immediately like former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo. The 2021 Ballon d’Or winner has been on a goal drought since December 15 and has witnessed a drastic drop in form since joining the club. In a recent interview, the striker explained that he alone cannot win matches for the team and would need help from other teammates. On his drop in form, he also noted that the current teammates are not the same as his former peers at Real Madrid.


Ange Postecoglou raises warning ahead of summer transfer window.

Despite Tottenham currently being fifth in the Premier League standing and in contention to clinch a champions league spot, the team’s coach, Ange Postecoglou has warned players wishing to move to the North London club with thoughts of Champions League football should not move to the club. With 70 points, Pep Guardiola’s team remains third, one point behind Arsenal and level on point with Liverpool who will have a chance to go back atop in huge clash against Manchester United on Sunday.


Bayern Munich lose again as Bayer Leverkusen go closer to clinching the tittle.

Bundesliga giant, Bayern Munich are witnessing one of their worst league performances this season. After going 2-0 up early against League debutant club, Heidenheim, they conceded consecutive goals in the second-half, losing their sixth league game of the season. This is the first time since 2011/2012 that the club has lost more than five league games in a season and is also the first time since 2000 losing to a league debuting club. Leverkusen, with a 1-0 win over Union Berlin are now 16 points on top of the league table and can secure the league title with a win over Werder Bremen next week Sunday.


Erik ten Hag’s future to be decided at the end of the season.

Manchester United is experiencing perhaps their worst season since in the post-Fergie era, with the club having lost 12 out of 30 league games already and an embarrassing crash out of the Champions League, there are doubts concerning ten Hag’s future with the club. While the coach has stated his positivity for him to remain at the club next season, speculations are indicating a possible sack, with Nagelsmann and England coach, Gareth Southgate in the picture. Sources have however confirmed that any decision in Erik ten Hag’s future will be decided at the end of the season.
