Jadon Sancho re-joined Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season after falling out with Erik ten Hag. Since, he has been a shining star for the club, helping them overturn a 2-1 deficit against Atletico Madrid to qualify for the Champions League semi finals. New reports are however claiming that Manchester United will be in line to receive an extra £3.4 million, after the initial £4 million loan fee, if Borussia Dortmund eventually qualifies for the Champions League finals. Sancho’s future at Manchester United remains uncertain, with the club set to make a decision concerning the winger at the end of the season

Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans clinch last Play-off spots.
The NBA play-in elimination tournament is finally over and the much anticipated playoffs are set to commence. After the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia Sixers clinched their spots earlier, Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans have secured the last spots in the playoff bracket. Tyler Herro was one assist shy away from his second career triple double, as he recorded 24 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the Heat to a 112-91 win over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night. In the absence of Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram also led the New Orleans Pelicans to a 105-98 win over the Sacramento Kings. Miami Heat will now take on the Eastern Conference’s first seed, the Boston Celtics while the Pelicans play Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of the playoffs.

Erik ten Hag tests Casemiro at center back as United’s injury crisis continues.
Manchester United have been hugely affected by recurring injury crises all season long and this looks to be persisting as we head into the final phase of the season. Ahead of Sunday’s FA cup semi final clash against Coventry, reports emerging from Carrington are indicating that all centre backs in the team except Harry Maguire will not be available. United’s coach, Erik ten Hag has had to try out Casemiro as a centre back with Harry Maguire as an emergency solution in training and sources are predicting the Brazilian to start the game as the CB position.

Nacho Fernández to take longer period before deciding his next move.
Real Madrid’s captain, Nacho Fernández disclosed his intention to leave the club at the end of the season after 23 years. While different clubs have set their sights on signing him, sources from Madrid have confirmed that the defender would be taking an extended period to decide his next move. It is unsure how long the Spaniard will take before a decision is reached but he has no plans of staying in La Liga, as he does not want to play against Real Madrid.

Luton moves deep into PL relegation zone after Brentford’s thrashing.
Newly promoted side, Luton’s relegation fears worsen after Brentford’s 5-1 loss further plunged them into the relegation zone. Wissa scored a first half brace to secure the perfect start for Brentford. The second half looked even more emphatic with three more goals coming from Pinnock, Lewis-Porter and Schade before English midfielder, Luke Berry scored a consolation goal for Luton right at the final minutes of the game. Currently 18th in the Premier League table after 34 games played, Luton have only four games to save their season.
