Averaging a near triple double with 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 9 assists per game, the Serbian beat Oklahoma City Thunder’s point guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Dallas Mavericks’ star, Luka Dončić to the Michael Jordan Trophy. With this win, Jokić joins greats like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Lebron James, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Moses Malone as the 9th player in NBA history to have won the MVP award 3 or more times.


Kylian Mbappé’s PSG farewell ceremony set to be held on Sunday.

France and Paris Saint Germain star player, Kylian Mbappé is preparing for his last days with the Ligue 1 giant. According to emerging reports in France, the 24 year-old forward, who is likely to move to Real Madrid in the summer, will have his farewell ceremony on Sunday, May 12th at the Parc des Princes. After Tuesday’s Champions League exit, Mbappé told the media that although he tried to help the team achieve Champions League success, he did not do enough. Real Madrid beat Bayern to qualify for the final and a chance to clinch their 15th CL trophy. Mbappé will be looking to achieve similar success with the La Liga giants when he joins them.

Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali enjoyed an outstanding run for Nigeria in the just concluded AFCON tournament, gaining the attention of many clubs across Europe. Amid interests from many European clubs like Queen Park Rangers, Union SG and South African Premier Division giant, Kaizer Chiefs, Chippa United have slapped a £1.3 million asking price on the goalkeeper. No doubt, a potential move to Europe would be the next big step for the in-form goalkeeper.


Mourinho opens up on rejecting Portugal’s offer to stay at Roma.

Acclaimed manager, José Mourinho has been out of job since parting ways with AS Roma in January due to poor results. The former Chelsea and Manchester United’s coach reportedly rejected different offers from Saudi Arabia and the Portugal national team while still heading the Italian club. In a recent interview, the Special One has revealed that he regrets rejecting Portugal’s offer to remain at Roma. He said, “I had a chance to coach Portugal twice but they came at the wrong time for me. I think I was emotional when I didn’t accept the last offer because I wanted to remain at Roma and I think I made a mistake.” José led Roma to its first ever European Cup in the club’s history in 2022.


Al Nassr set to reportedly offer €40 million bid for Casemiro.

After a disappointing season, Manchester United are preparing for an overt clear out of their squad in the summer and Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro looks to be one of the first players to be sold. According to new reports, Saudi Arabia side, Al Nassr is willing to offer United €40 million to sign the midfielder. Casemiro was signed from Real Madrid in 2022 for a whooping €70 million transfer fee and was pivotal to their Carabao Cup win last season. However, the Brazilian has experienced a lot of inconsistencies and injuries this season and United will be willing to bank in on him this summer.
