Nikola Jokić wins third NBA Most Valuable Player award in four years.
Denver Nuggets’ superstar, Nikola Jokić has been named the 2023/2024 NBA Most Valuable Player for the third time in the last four seasons. Averaging a near triple double with 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds and 9 assists per game, the Serbian beat Oklahoma City Thunder’s point guard, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Dallas Mavericks’ star, Luka Dončić to the Michael Jordan Trophy. With this win, Jokić joins greats like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, Wilt Chamberlain, Lebron James, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Moses Malone as the 9th player in NBA history to have won the MVP award 3 or more times.
