Police in Agwa Divisional Police station in Imo State were reportedly killed by gunmen who invaded the station. At least four policemen and one civilian are believed to have been killed in the attack. The attackers are believed to have used automatic weapons in the attack, which lasted for several minutes. The motive for the attack is not yet known, but it is believed that the attackers were trying to free prisoners who were being held at the station.
