Isaiah Thomas set to sign 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns.
Two time NBA All Star, Isaiah Thomas has decided to return to the NBA after two years. He joined G League side, Salt Lake City Stars, recording 32.5 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in over four games played. The veteran is however set to return to the NBA, as he has just landed a 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns. With a 39-28 record this season, the Suns are struggling to secure a playoff spot. This signing, although short, has been predicted to help turn the Suns’ fortunes around.

Vinicius unhappy with Real Madrid’s handling of racial abuses that he faces.
Real Madrid forward, Vinicius Júnior has been one of the best players globally over the last two years, helping Madrid clinch a champions league and La Liga titles. With these improvements however, the Brazilian has been constantly subjected to numerous racial abuses in Spain and while the league’s board are taking measures to salvage this situation, reports are indicating that Vinicius has been quite unhappy with Real Madrid’s handling of this situation, with the belief that the club should be doing more to support him.

Rumours of Derrick Rose’s retirement after 15 years in the league.
News of Derrick Rose’s retirement surfaced on social media last week. The point guard has spent 15 years in the league, led the Chicago Bulls to 62 wins and winning the NBA MVP award for the 2011 season. The 35 year old signed for the Memphis Grizzlies in the off season but has failed to play consistently this season due to injuries. It is however unknown if Derrick Rose is considering his retirement.

Manchester City beats Newcastle to qualify for the FA Cup quarter finals.
Pep Guardiola’s men are heading to the Wembley again this season after defeating Newcastle 2-0 to secure a semi final spot in the 2024 FA Club. Bernardo Silva came out blazing, scoring a brace in the first 30 minutes of the game to give City the win. City will now face Chelsea, who had a strong 4-2 win over Leicester City on Sunday. Manchester City will have a shot at winning back to back trebles, as they are in fact huge contenders to win the Premier League and Champions League.
Manchester United to edge closer as Tottenham suffers heavy defeat.
It looks like Manchester United might be edging closer to the Champions League return next season, with the new plans set to actualize from next season. With the number of participating teams now increased to 36, the Premier League is being tipped to secure the 5-place participants. Tottenham however failed to extend their lead after heavy 3-0 defeat against Fulham in the weekend Presently sixth in the league table, Manchester United are now only six and seven points away from the sea and will be looking to battle it out and secure a champions league spot.
