The Nigerian military has stepped up its fight against terrorism in recent weeks with a series of operations launched throughout the country. Between Feb 10 – Feb 24 2022 (14 Days), 466 terrorists and their families surrendered, 111 were arrested, and 139 terrorists were eliminated. Additionally, 42 kidnapped children and adults were rescued. The operations have been largely successful in weakening the terrorist networks in Nigeria and helping to restore security to the country.
