Caitlin Clark passes Pete Maravich as NCAA’s all time leading scorer.
Iowa point guard, Caitlin Clark is one of the biggest prospects in America’s college basketball, best known for her fashionable 3 point shooting and has been tipped to make a big bang in the WNBA. On Sunday, she broke Pete Mavarich’s 54-year old record to become the all time leading scorer in the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division 1 (men and women). She entered Sunday’s game needing 18 points to surpass the record and sunk down two free throws to take her NCAA career points to 3,668. Caitlin has decided to forgo her final year college eligibility and would enter the 2024 WNBA draft and is projected to be the number one pick by the Indiana Fever.
