TVC News Nigeria gives us a report on an attack in Zamfara State.
It is with great sadness that we report the death of eighteen farmers in Zamfara, Nigeria. The farmers were killed by unknown gunmen while they were working on their farms in the villages of Kango and Karauchi. Nursing mothers were also abducted during this attack. This tragic event highlights the challenges that farmers in Nigeria face on a daily basis. They are constantly at risk of violence and death, simply because they are trying to feed their families and earn a living. We call on the Nigerian government to do more to protect these farmers and to bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice.
