He spoke of this at the “Energise-First Career Fair for Clean Energy Sector” in Lagos on April 5, 2022. The Minister noted that the clean energy sector is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, and that Nigeria is well positioned to take advantage of this growth. However, he cautioned that the country will need to produce a large number of skilled workers to meet the demand.
This Energise-First Career Fair for Clean Energy Sector is an initiative of the Nigerian government that aims to provide opportunities for young people to enter the clean energy sector. The initiative includes a career fair, which will provide information on various careers in the clean energy sector, as well as training and mentorship opportunities. The fair was a resounding success, hosting over 25 companies from a plethora of sectors. This event was a great opportunity for professionals to network and advance their careers.
