Altay Bayindir debuts as Manchester United defeats Newport County.
Manchester United are through to the FA Cup fifth round, scraping past League two side, Newport County in a six goal thriller. Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo opened the scoring early for United but the team fell short defensively, as Morris and Will Evans led the underdogs to an early equalization. Antony however guided the ball in after Luke Shaw’s shot hit the crossbar to secure his first goal in ten months. Rasmus Højlund secured the win, slotting the ball home from close range in the 94th minute. New goalkeeper, Altay Bayindir made five crucial saves on his debut for Manchester United, becoming the first Turkish player to play for the club.
