Marcus Rashford, Rodrigo Muniz win premier league awards for March.

Fulham’s striker, Rodrigo Muniz has clinched the EA Sport’s Premier League March player of the month after a prolific run, scoring four goals and providing an assist in three games. He becomes the first player in Fulham’s history to win a PL player of the month award and was brought to tears as teammates, William and Pereira presented him with the award. Manchester United’s star, Marcus Rashford also won the March goal of the month award for his sensational strike in the Manchester Derby. He joins Bruno Fernandes, Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo as United’s fourth player to win the award this season.

At the league’s shareholder meeting, however, clubs have unanimously agreed to the introduction of the Semi-Automated Offside Technology to salvage this problem. This technology was highly successful in the last World Cup and has been adopted in Italy and Spain. The technology will not be available at the start of next season.

Serie A side, Atalanta have a foot placed in the Europa League semi finals after cruising to a 3-0 win over Liverpool at the Anfield stadium on Thursday evening. Italian striker, Gianluca Scamacca scored a brace with Mario Pašalić rounding off the game with another beautiful goal. This is Liverpool’s first home defeat in the last 14 months. Reacting to the game, Jürgen Klopp stated that there was nothing positive to say about the game, criticizing the team’s tactical discipline. Liverpool will be hoping to complete another European comeback as they head to Italy next week.

Talented German midfielder, Jamal Musiala has been tipped to make a big move from Bayern Munich next summer. Bundesliga side, Bayer Leverkusen are on the verge of having one of the greatest season runs in football history. In the Europa League quarter final clash against West Ham, Xabi Alonso’s men exerted total dominance, securing a 2-0 win to extend their unbeaten run to 43 games. Nigerian striker, Victor Boniface was on the scoresheet, for the first time since returning from injury. Leverkusen will be looking to seal the Bundesliga title this weekend against Werder Bremen.
