I believe the security situation in NIgeria is getting better, now we get to hear of criminals being apprehended every now and then.
Hopefully this type of people continues to fall into the trap of the officers , so the number of these criminals will reduce in this country
Kudos to the police men and those always giving these reports to the police, if they continue to do this, Nigeria will become peacefully in no time.
Arrest and re-arrest of all these criminals will not change anything unless the government is ready to charge them and prosecute them for there crime. Many of them have been arrest before and later was released to the society and that is the major reason the criminals will continue there act.
This is a nice move as they we’re arrested they must be prosecute so it will serve as warning for other ones but if they we’re arrest and they are not prosecute it just a waste of time and they good work should be continue by our armed forces
Why is banditry int he blood of this so called fulanis disguising as cattle readers,we just need to be security concious of every one around us.
Yes. Keep on arresting all of them. Any bandits that is not ready to stop and desist from this dastardly act should be prosecuted. It will continue to serve as a deterrent to others. We will continue to fight against insecurity.
They should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. And hopefully, this will send a stern warning to the rest of them out there.
Several times we have heard about the arrest of Boko Haram kingpin and other terror group only to turn out that they were not actually killed or arrested. I hope such is not the case with this bandits leader that was arrested.
Government should do the needful by exterminating these bandits rather than grant them amnesty. They claim to have repented but what they are doing in essence is to avoid government wrath.
They should be severely dealt with. And hopefully this arrest won’t just end on the news. We’ve heard of the arrest of bandit leaders over the years, and nothing serious happened afterwards
we been hearing about some arrested of bandits so many times yet nothing is done. if truly they are arrested why not prosecute them
I am quite relieved that the culprits were apprehended because it was discovered that they were in possession of several stolen animals, which they were attempting to sell.
A man in his fifties was detained by the Zamfara Police Command on the allegation that he had been involved in cattle rustling and the trafficking of stolen animals in various parts of the state.
Government should do the needful by exterminating these bandits rather than grant them amnesty. It will continue to serve as a deterrent to others. We will continue to fight against insecurity. Non stop!
It’s good as our security operatives were able to track and catch this criminal, thy should keep it up and do more of that.
Instead of granting amnesty to these criminals, the government need to do the responsible thing and wipe out all of them. They say they have changed their ways, but in reality, what they are trying to do is get away from the wrath of the government.
This is a good idea because if they are prosecuted after being caught, it would serve as a deterrent to those who committed similar offenses in the future; but, if prosecution is not pursued after arrest, it will be a waste of time.
He should be held accountable to the highest possible degree under the law. And we can only hope that this will serve as a strong deterrent to the rest of them who are still out there.
If the police officers and the people who always give these reports to the police keep up their good work, Nigeria would become much more peaceful in a very short amount of time. Kudos to them.
