Radisson Hotel to establish 15 hotels

Currently, three exquisite hotels by the Group will commence operation in 2025.

New hotels are announced by Radisson Hotel Group, affirming its leading status as one of the biggest hotel operators in Nigeria. Radisson Hotel Group progresses with this position as one of the leading and growing hotel companies internationally by endorsing three new hotels. The new hotels come with bold and cutting-edge Radisson RED standard lifestyle and with two brands, it establishes the Group’s introduction in Abuja. Statistically, there is an additional 400 rooms added to Radisson Hotel Group in Nigeria, which approximately gives 11 hotels working in operation and enhancing the aim of the company to establish 15 hotels by 2025 in Nigeria.

Senior Director of Radisson, Africa, Erwan Garnier, stated with enthusiasm how proud the organisation is to have expanded across Nigeria. This expansion is a reflection of its focus on Lagos and Abuja while expanding their various brands. These brands include the premium luxury lifestyle brand with the Radisson Collection Hotel and Conference centre, Abuja, the upper upscale brand with the Radisson Blue Hotel (CBD), and the debut upscale lifestyle brand with Radisson RED, Lagos VI, which is the first in West Africa and third in Africa.

Abuja-located hotel is in Maitama District, an exclusive location.

The recent new hotel signings of Radisson Hotel Group in Nigeria include Radisson Collection Hotel and Conference Centre, Abuja. This new hotel has 249 rooms and will be the first luxury hotel in Abuja, expanding the portfolio of Radisson Collection across Nigeria. In the hotel, there would be an expansive range of rooms which consist of standard rooms and apartments, presidential suite and lofts. Also the meeting spaces will comprise of five meeting rooms, a pre-function area, a dividable conference hall.

It has its location close to the Presidential Palace in Maitama District, one of the exclusive locations in Abuja. From the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the hotel will be about approximately a 45 minute drive. Also close to the hotel is Wuse market, the most popular market in the area; Jabai Boat Club, a water base family entertainment centre and recreational hub; and Abuja national mosque which was built in 1984, and is also called the Nigerian National Mosque.

Victoria Island would also accommodate a new Radisson hotel.

Also, the upper upscale Radisson Blu Brand situated in Abuja is the third of its kind in Nigeria. It has 104 rooms and is expected to begin operations in Q1 2025. It will be located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Abuja, also a 45 minute drive from Nnamdi Azikiwe airport. The hotel is designed to have a classic piano bar, and an all-day dining restaurant with structure fitness and wellness facilities. Aside from all these qualities, it will also possess a space of 245 square meters for meetings and events.

Additionally, there is the Radisson RED brand in Lagos, Victoria Island. The Group, in a bid to enable further expansion of its presence in the country is constructing its seventh hotel in operation which is undergoing development in Lagos. Across Nigeria, this hotel is the most anticipated debut of the cutting-edge upscale Radisson RED Brand. It has 62 rooms that are scheduled to commence operation in Q4 2025, amidst introducing Nigeria to the renowned Radisson RED Brand.

Availability of a rooftop bar makes it unique.

This introduction includes its special food and beverage concepts enclosed in its lobby bar, all-day dining restaurant, rooftop bar and terrace. This roof top is projected to be the most sought-after rooftop venue across Nigeria. Other facilities will consist of a gym and pool. It will also have a space of 249 square metres for flexible meetings and events space which consist of a conference room, two meeting rooms and a boardroom. It is a 30 minute drive from Murtala Muhammed Airport in VI.
