Argentina’s captain, Lionel Messi will not feature in the country’s upcoming friendlies against El Salvador and Costa Rica, scheduled for March 22nd and 26th in Philadelphia and Los Angeles respectively. This is due to sustaining a minor setback with Inter Miami. Twerking his hamstring in Inter Miami’s 3-1 win against Nashville in the Concacaf Champions Cup, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner is to be placed on minute restriction for the next couple of matches.
