Endrick scores first international goal as Brazil beats England.

Real Madrid bound talent, Endrick was on the scoresheet to give Brazil a 1-0 win over England on Saturday, rebounding Vinicius’ shot to mark his first international goal. With this goal, he becomes the youngest male footballer to score an international goal in Wembley Stadium. At 17 years and 246 days old, he is also the youngest to score for Brazil since Ronaldo “Fenomeno” in 1994. Speaking about getting his first goal, Endrick said it was a unique feeling, one that he is still processing. He will move to the Bernabéu Stadium in the summer and will be hoping to make his mark like past legends.


Nigeria tops the Athletics medal table in the All Africa Games in Ghana.

The 2024 All Africa Games has been such an intriguing tournament with big all round performances across sports from all participating countries. As the competition comes to an end, Egypt goes home topping the medal table with a total of 189 medals. Nigeria follows suite with 120 medals, one of their best performances in any tournament. However, Nigeria was most exceptional in Athletics, where they topped medal table with a total of twenty-two medals, including eleven golds, six silvers and five bronzes.


João Cancelo and Felix set to remain at Barcelona next season.

Portuguese duo, João Felix and João Cancelo have both been two of Barcelona’s most important players since securing a season-long loan deals from their respective clubs. Felix and João has scored nine and four goals respectively, helping Barcelona remain in the title race and Champions League quarter finals. Both players have been very vocal about wanting to remain at the club past their loan periods and with Barcelona’s financial crisis, there are huge doubts as to if the La Liga giant will go all out to secure their permanent deals in the summer. However, Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta has just confirmed to news sources that the duo will be at the club next summer. Laporta has revealed that loan extensions will be secured for both players with fixed prices, if agreements are reached with the clubs.


Gareth Southgate confirms Kyle Walker’s injury in Brazil clash.

Manchester City has been dealt a huge blow ahead of title contending showdown against Arsenal as full back, Kyle Walker picked up an injury in the friendly clash against Brazil on Saturday. After the game, England Coach, Gareth Southgate offered an update on Walker’s situation. Confirming the injury, Southgate stated that the right back felt something. Although the nature of the injury has not been confirmed yet, Walker will be hoping that it is not any worse ahead of Arsenal game next week.


Tyrell Malacia struggling with physical and mental problems.

Manchester United’s left back, Tyrell Malacia is yet to feature in any game since the club’s preseason. With little or no update on his injury, either from the club or his personal social media accounts, there has been speculations about the Dutch defender being involved in a court case. However, new sources are indicating that the player is in fact dealing with physical and mental issues which have halted his progress. There is still no indication as to when he will eventually return but fans have thrown their support behind the player.
