Lt. General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defence Staff, has given his utmost guarantee that the Nigerian Army will exert every effort within their power to liberate the nation from all forms of criminal activities. During his visit to Sokoto, Musa took the opportunity to address the troops of Operation Hadarin Daji, expressing his thoughts on December 26, 2023. He assured them that as long as he continues to hold the position of Chief of Defence Staff for the Armed Forces of Nigeria, he pledges his unwavering commitment to provide them with the utmost support in order to guarantee their ability to accomplish and execute their responsibilities successfully.

In his address, Major General Godwin Mutkut, the General Officer Commander of 8 Division, expressed his confidence to the Chief of Defence Staff, stating that the operations Hadarin Daji troops are determined to exceed their accomplishments from this year in the upcoming year. This year, he expressed that the success of Operation Hadarin Daji can be attributed to the immense support provided by both the Chief of Defence Staff office and the Defence headquarters. The troops, according to him, have displayed remarkable achievements.
