Marcus Rashford makes a huge claim in new revelatory interview.
Off his first career 30+ goal scoring form, Marcus Rashford has found it difficult hitting the ground running this season. With just five goals this season, the Manchester United forward has received heavy criticisms for his downturn lately, rumours of a potential transfer have circulated. In a new interview with The Player’s Tribune, Rashford has hit back at critics questioning his loyalty to the club. He revealed the sacrifices he and his family have made in a bid to fulfill his dream to play for Manchester United, including rejecting big money from European clubs. Despite admitting his mistakes, he said that “If you ever question my commitment to Man. United, that’s when I have to speak up. It’s like somebody questioning my entire identity.”

Athletic Bilbao eliminates Atletico Madrid to advance to Copa del Rey final.
The Williams brothers — Iñaki and Nico were on fire as Athletic Bilbao defeated Athletics Madrid to advance to the final of the Copa del Rey. After defeating the the Madrid side 1-0 in the first leg of the semi final, goals from Iñaki, Nico and Gorka Guruzeta were enough to complete a 4-0 aggregated victory to send Bilbao to their third Copa del Rey final in the last five years. Ernesto Valverde’s side was able to propel Atletico’s advances with well-rounded counter attacks and will now face Mallorca, who defeated Real Sociedad 5-4 on penalties, in the final in Seville on April 6.

Pep Guardiola confirms Grealish will be out of weekend’s PL clash.
Despite Manchester City’s 6-2 win against Luton in the FA Cup fifth round, Grealish’s injury has left a bad mark for the team. The English midfielder had earlier suffered a groin problem in City’s Champions League clash against Copenhagen, forcing him to miss two games. He returned to the starting line-up for the Luton clash, suffering another groin injury after only 38 minutes. After the necessary assessments, Manchester City coach, Pep Guardiola has however just revealed that Grealish is out of Sunday’s Manchester Derby, with no specific return date.

Huge blow for Chelsea as Fofana is set to miss the remainder of the season.
French defender, Wesley Fofana looked set to be a crucial part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plan but sustained a Cruciate Ligament injury during Chelsea’s pre-season game against Brentford. In November, Chelsea posted a photo of him in rehabilitating with light training and the defender himself shared a training photo on Instagram with the caption, “back on track”. Manager, Maurice Pochettino has however disclosed in his pre-match conference ahead of Brentford’s clash that Fofana is most likely to miss the remainder of the season.

Javier Tebas reveals stance on the Mason Greenwood’s situation.
Mason Greenwood was secured a deadline day loan move to La Liga side, Getafe after being suspended for two years on allegations of sexual assault. Fellow English player, Bellingham reportedly hurled “rapist” at him during a league game in early February and while the forward has asked the Spanish FA to drop the investigation, La Liga president, Javier Tebas is the latest to state his stance on the situation. Tebas stated that Greenwood was not condemned and as such, he does not care. He lauded the forward’s performance for Getafe so far, hoping that he continues to play and succeed in the league.
