Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo does not look to be declining one bit. After ending last year as the highest goal scorer, he is walking a similar trajectory this year. The 37 year-old was on target again on Saturday, scoring a hat trick as Al Nassr defeated Al Wehda 6-0. He has recorded his 66th career hattricks and 4th in the Saudi league. He has also brought his total to 52 goals in 52 games for the season. With 32 league goals, Ronaldo is 2 goals short of Abderrazak Hamdallah’s record of 34 goals, with four more games to go.


Chelsea defeats West Ham to go above Manchester United on the PL table.

Pochettino’s men continued their strong form at Stamford Bridge with a 5-0 win against West Ham on Sunday afternoon. Cole Palmer returned to goal scoring form, opening the scoring early in the 15th minute. Connor Gallagher and Noni Madueke also scored in the first half. Nicolas Jackson added two goals in the second half. Chelsea have now overtaken Manchester United at 7th on the PL table pending United‘s clash against Crystal Palace on Monday evening.


Julen Lopetegui agrees to become West Ham’s new head coach.

Former Real Madrid and Spain manager, Julen Lopetegui is set to replace David Moyes as West Ham’s manager. Moyes has faced major scrutinies for West Ham’s form this season, especially after winning only one of their last nine games. Lopetegui has been out of action since leaving the Wolves three days before the 2023/2024 season commenced. According to reports, the Spanish manager has an agreement in place to become West Ham’s new manager with other details of the contract already being finalized.
