Heart breaking news for the Houston Rockets as they are now set to lose their star centre, Alperen Sengun for the remainder of the season. The Turkish basketball player sustained a high ankle sprain after a frightening fall which left him in a wheelchair in Houston’s 112-104 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. However, the new injury update has revealed that the player escaped a major injury which will keep him on the sidelines until the end of the season. Facing the Golden States Warriors on Wednesday evening, he will be looking to advance this record and edge closer to breaking Russell Westbrook’s 11 game straight triple doubles which was set in 2019, during his time at Oklahoma City Thunders.
