Alperen Sengun is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
Heart breaking news for the Houston Rockets as they are now set to lose their star centre, Alperen Sengun for the remainder of the season. The Turkish basketball player sustained a high ankle sprain after a frightening fall which left him in a wheelchair in Houston’s 112-104 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday. However, the new injury update has revealed that the player escaped a major injury which will keep him on the sidelines until the end of the season. Sengun averaged 21.1 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5 assists per game this season and with the franchise likely to miss the postseason, it is believed that there is no reason to rush the centre back to action.
