PL deducts two more Everton points for another FFP rule breach.
After a six point deduction penalty was carried out earlier this year, the Premier League has announced that another two points will be deducted from Everton’s total points after the Independent Commission found the club guilty of breaching the Profitability and Sustainability rules again. With this new deduction, Everton has now dropped to 16th on the league table with 27 points and merely 2 points off the relegation zone. The club has however vowed to appeal this penalty, which means the outcome of the relegation battle could be further pushed beyond the last game of the season.
