With Jürgen Klopp set to leave Liverpool in the summer, FSG are prepared to commence a restructure starting from the reappointment of former sporting director, Michael Edwards. After rounds of negotiations, Edwards looks set to re-join the club with talks entering its final stages. Reports indicate that he will be handed a prominent role within the Fenway Sports Group (FSG), where he will be in charge of all the football operations and some external affairs within the club. Richard Hughes will join the club as the new sporting director.

Kobbie Mainoo to be offered a new 60k per week United contract.
Talented Manchester United’s midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo has impressed many since breaking into the first team. In 14 Premier League starts, he has exerted his influence and ability on the ball and the United’s coach, Erik ten Hag and the board are convinced with his abilities. Manchester United have however offered him a new contract with an upgraded wage from £20,000 to £60,000. The new contract will further see the 18 year-old earn more on bonuses.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Saudi Arabia side, Al Nassr after falling out with ten Hag. Since moving to the Saudi league, there has been an influx of big players like Neymar, Benzema, Brozovic and Kante have also moved there, making the league one of the toughest. However, constant rumours have been linking Ronaldo back to Europe. The all time football leading scorer has revealed in his new interview, that he is happy to stay with Saudi Arabia and would be looking to have a phenomenal season with the club.

Harvetz’s late goal help Arsenal leapfrog to 1st on Premier League table.
The Premier League title race continues to heat up as the season gradually draws close. Arsenal, one of the biggest league contenders looks set to make another run for the trophy after last season’s heartbreak. In clash against Brentford, Arsenal started the game with a huge goal from Declan Rice but Aaron Ramsdale’s error gifted the visitors an equalizer. While it looked like Arsenal’s title hopes were being dashed away, Kai Havertz stepped up, finishing a fine team goal in the 86th minute. Arsenal are now back to first on the PL table.
