Alexander Isak on Arsenal’s radar ahead of summer transfer window.

Premier league leaders, Arsenal are looking to equip their forward line next season, with first and second choice strikers, Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah struggling through injuries. According to reports, the North London club is showing great interest in Newcastle’s striker, Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker was signed for a whooping €70 million from Real Sociedad and has scored twelve Premier League goals this season and will be the perfect fit to lead Arteta’s men. It is however unsure if Newcastle will be willing to sell the player in the summer.


Real Madrid prepared to give Andriy Lunin an improved contract.

Ukrainian goalkeeper, Andriy Lunin has stepped up for Real Madrid since Thibaut Courtois’ heartbreaking injury. The 25 year-old has kept ten clean sheets in 23 games played this season, conceding 19 goals within this span. Real Madrid is now prepared to reward Lunin’s consistency with a new contract. His present contract is set to expire in 2025 and while the negotiations are still in the early stages, the club is making their trust clear but it will depend on Lunin’s decision to either remain the second choice goalkeeper when Courtois returns or seek more first team football elsewhere.


Denmark’s manager reveals time management plan for Rasmus Højlund.

Manchester United’s striker, Rasmus Højlund suffered a muscle injury earlier this month, ruling him out for two weeks. Presently still recovering, Denmark’s boss, Kasper Hjulmand has disclosed an agreement with Manchester United concerning Højlund’s time management in Denmark’s clashes against Switzerland and Faroe Island. The manager noted that there is an agreement with United for the striker to start in the Switzerland game, with no restriction on the minutes played. Hjulmand however, failed to ascertain if Højlund will be available for the clash against Faroe Island. Manchester United will be hoping to have him fully fit ahead of the PL game against Brentford.


Liverpool denies any negotiation with Paris Saint Germain for Luis Diaz.

Since Kylian Mbappe disclosed his decision to leave Paris Saint Germain for Real Madrid as a free agent, the Ligue 1 giant has been shortlisting a number of replacements including Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Liverpool star, Luis Diaz. With Jurgen Klopp’s departure at the end of the season, the fate of the players remains unknown. However, Liverpool has denied any rumour concerning negotiations with PSG for the Colombian winger, stating that there are no plans at all to sell him.


Barcelona registers interest in RB Leipzig striker, Benjamin Šeško.

RB Leipzig striker, Benjamin Šeško has registered huge interest from many big clubs across Europe. Premier League sides including Chelsea and Manchester United are monitoring his progress in the Bundesliga this season and it looks like Barcelona is the latest to also register their interest in the Slovenian striker. With seven Bundesliga goals and two assists this season, RB Leipzig has slapped a €50 million release clause on the 20 year-old striker and will be willing to cash in on him during the summer transfer window.
