Thiago Silva set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after four years.

Brazilian defender has announced that he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season. He joined the London club from Paris Saint Germain on a free transfer in August, 2020. Since then, he has become one of the club’s most consistent players, winning the Champions League, Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup and FA Cup with the club. In an emotional video, Silva announced that his stay with the club will be coming to a close at the end of the season and hoped to return to the club soon in another role.


Mark Daigneault clinched the 2023/2024 NBA Coach of the year.

The Oklahoma City Thunder coach, Mark Daigneault has emerged the NBA coach of the year for this season. Guiding OKC, the youngest team in the league to the first seed in the Eastern conference and turning the team into a title contending team has been nothing short of amazing. Mark received 89 of the 99 available first place votes Orlando Magic’s Jamahl Mosley and the Minnesota Timberwolves’s head coach, Chris Finch finished second and third respectively.

Ligue 1 giant, Paris Saint Germain have emerged league winner. Second-placed Monaco’s away loss to Lyon on Sunday evening gave PSG a 12 point lead with only 7 games left to play. This marks PSG’s third consecutive league title and 12th in the club’s history. The French giant will be focused on the Champions League semi-final, as they take on Borussia Dortmund. They will also be preparing to defend the title next season without their star man, Kylian Mbappé who is set to leave the club at the end of the season.


Minnesota Timberwolves sweep the Phoenix Suns in their first ever playoff series.

Anthony Edwards and Karl Anthony-Towns showed out, dropping 40 and 28 respectively as the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Suns 122-116 on Sunday evening, making it four straight wins to sweep the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs. This is the Timberwolves’ first ever sweep in the franchise’s history and their first playoff win in over 20 years. The team will have a good rest time before facing the winner of the Denver Nuggets vs Los Angeles Lakers’ series in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.


Scott McTominay to miss the rest of the season after sustaining another injury.

Manchester United’s injury woes have been nothing short of devastating. This season has seen the club record over 60 injuries which has in turn, affected the team’s overall performances. Midfielder, Scott McTominay suffered another injury in United’s tough draw against Burnley last weekend and new reports are pointing to him missing the rest of the season and even the upcoming Euros. While the results of the scan are yet to be revealed, fans are hopeful that the high-scoring midfielder recovers quickly. This will be a huge miss for both Manchester United and Scotland.
