Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, advocated additional Stakeholders partnerships for the empowerment of women in the sector of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Mrs. Tinubu stated this during her address at the closing ceremony of the Women ICT Training Empowerment Programme, which was held in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, and organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
Mrs. Tinubu recognized the impact of technology and its transformative power in bridging gaps in different sectors, especially technology. She emphasized that it is important to make sure that women are empowered in ICT as Nigeria is growing in digital transformation. She described the partnership between the Renewed Hope Agenda and NITDA as an initiative for progress, emphasizing the impacts of collective efforts and its functions. Also, she added that significant changes will occur if women are empowered through digital skills, utilizing their skills to generate income to the nation and create job opportunities.

He emphasized the significance of the digital sector in economic prosperity and job creation. The speedy development of technology is creating more demand for tech literate individuals in industries.
