Manchester City edges closer to historic Premier League title win.
Defending Champions, Manchester City defeated Tottenham 2-0 on Tuesday evening and are now one game away from winning their fourth consecutive Premier League title. After a tough first half for both sides, Pep Guardiola’s men came out with more intent in the second half. Erling Haaland converted Kevin De Bruyne’s beautiful cross to give City the lead in the 51st minute before doubling the score in the 91st minute with a penalty. However, it was Stefan Ortega’s saves down the line that really helped Manchester City wrap up the crucial win to reclaim the top spot on the PL table. They now go 2 points above Arsenal with just one game left to play. Manchester City will be the first ever PL team to win the league four consecutive times if they defeat West Ham on Sunday.
