On a loan move Mason Greenwood, from Manchester United to La Liga side, Getafe after charges of alleged attempted rape and assault against his girlfriend were officially dropped. Regardless, dents of the allegations have moved with him to the new team. However, sources are claiming that Greenwood is relieved that the case was dropped, with the player keen to focus on football.


Bad news for Brighton as Kaoru Mitoma could be out until end of season.

Brighton has been hit with a injury blow, as star winger, Kaoru Mitoma is set to potentially miss the rest of the season after picking up a back injury earlier this month. After a really impressive start to the season, scoring three goals and four assists, Mitoma has only played two games since December, as a result of recurring injuries. Brighton’s coach, Roberto De Zerbi has however just confirmed that the Japan international will miss about three months due to the bad injury. This will be such a big blow for Brighton who will be looking to earn a European spot.

The Super Eagles’ captain, William Troost-Ekong is set to miss the remainder of the season for club side, Paok Thessaloniki after sustaining a hamstring injury during the AFCON 2023 group stage games. The defender reportedly picked up this injury during the group game versus host country, Ivory Coast and decided to play on, leading Nigeria to and scoring at the AFCON 2023 finals and winning the Player of the Tournament award. He has received great praises from Nigerians for his resilience.


Chelsea reports claims Christopher Nkunku is undergoing medical assessment.

Christopher Nkunku has struggled with numerous injury crisis since completing his move to Chelsea in the summer. The Frenchman suffered a knock in Carabao Cup defeat against Liverpool and looks set to potentially miss some games. In Chelsea’s latest statement, the club confirmed that Nkunku is presently undergoing medical assessment to determine the extent of his condition. The club is hoping the condition is not too serious, as he is a very important player for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
