With this brace, the Norwegian striker has now scored 51 goals in his 50th Premier League start, the first and only player with 50+ goals in 50 starts in Premier League’s history.


Nigeria’s D’Tigress qualify for the 2024 Olympics Women’s basketball.

CAF President believes Nigeria must bid to host the World Cup.

Ahead of the coveted AFCON 2024 finals between Nigeria and host country, Côte D’Ivoire, the CAF President, Patrice Motsepe has revealed what Nigeria must do to be the second African country to host the World Cup. Asked if Africa will get a chance to host the tournament again after South Africa in 2010, Motsepe noted that Nigeria must put in a bid to host the World Cup. He in fact promised to have a conversation with Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who would be present for the AFCON finals.

Former German international, Toni Kroos is set to be out of contract with Real Madrid at the end of the season and the situation around a potential contract renewal has been immensely quiet, triggering rumours of a potential exit from the La Liga giant. Ahead of crucial game against second-placed Girona, Real Madrid’s boss, Carlo Ancelotti has insisted that only Kroos has the power to decide his future with the club, whilst also hinting that the midfielder will extend his contract with the club. Kroos has scored a goal and provided seven assists in 30 games for Real Madrid this season and will play a crucial role, should he decide to extend his contract with the club.

The good news is that Nigeria’s national women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, has qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, despite a crushing 100-48 loss against team USA on Friday. They should continue to play well.
