Vinicius Jr. breaks down in tears while discussing racism in Spain.

Real Madrid star, Vinicius Jr. has been vocal about the racist innuendoes that he has constantly been a victim of while playing in Spain. Despite several complaints, the league has done next to nothing to curb this situation and has on many occasions, been penalized for reacting to these degrading remarks. Ahead of Brazil’s clash against Spain, Vinicius, when asked about the impacts of these racist attacks on him, broke down in tears while explaining that it continues to make him feel less motivated to play the game he loves. He however assured fans that he would not leave the club, as the president and club continues to support him. Football fans have since shown great support for the forward whilst also criticizing the Spanish league for not taking actions against this social problem.


Manchester United set sight on young Boca Juniors center-back.

Ahead of next season, Manchester United are looking to fill certain positions in the squad, including the center-back position. One of the players that have attracted the club’s attention is Boca Juniors’ youngster, Aaron Anselmino. Scouting reports on the player indicates that his profile fits United’s defensive ball-playing description and the club would be looking to match his €17 million release clause. Reports further suggest that Manchester United’s intention will be to buy the defender and send him on loan to an European club to adaptability.

The 2024 Copa America tournament is set to be held in the United States and Canada and is scheduled to commence from June 21st. Defending champions, Argentina will be looking to continue their historic quest by winning the second consecutive Copa America in the last four years as they face Peru, Chile and Canada in the Group A. Mexico will face off Ecuador, Venezuela and Jamaica in the Group B. Uruguay, United States of America, Panama and Bolivia will battle it out in the Group C and Brazil will be looking to rise up from their final ruins as they face Colombia, Paraguay and Costa Rica in the Group D.


Atletico Madrid midfielder, Koke signs new contract with the club.

Club captain and record-appearance holder, Koke has signed a contract extension with Atletico Madrid which will see him remain at Metropolitano stadium until June, 2025. Koke has been one of Simeone’s most loyal players, playing 625 games for the club and winning eight trophies for the team, including two La Liga and Europa League titles. His new contract will include an option to extend for further years based on his appearances and performances.


New Premier League Hall of Fame nominees have been announced.

The Premier League Hall of fame celebrates PL players with illustrious careers in the league. Arsenal and Chelsea legendary full back, Ashley Cole joined the list of legendary hall of famers and the new nominees for the 2024 hall of fame has also been announced. The nominees include Manchester United legends, Edwin Van der Saar, Gary Neville, Andy Cole, Michael Carrick, Michael Owen and Nemanja Vidic. Other nominees include Les Ferdinand, Robbie Fowler, Yaya Touré, John Terry David Silva, Cesc Fabregas, Sol Campbell and Jermain Defoe.
