Paul Pierce says Lebron James has attained the ultimate basketball GOAT status.
Lebron James has dominated the NBA consistently for over 20 years with numerous achievements that elevates him in the conversation for the “greatest of all time” player status. Former Boston Celtics player, Paul Pierce, who had earlier claimed that Lebron was not a top five in the GOAT conversation, has now credited him for immensely raising the ceiling. Answering to his 2020 comment on the Draymond Green’s podcast, Pierce acknowledged Lebron’s greatness, noting that his longevity, records and consistency at the top for two decades places him as the greatest basketball player.

The Milwaukee Bucks point guard, Damian Lillard is acclaimed as one of the greatest shooters of all time in basketball. The 2024 All-Stars MVP who became the first player in over a decade to win back to back three-point contests has just surpassed Reggie Miller to become the fourth place shooter in history for three point shots made. Despite the Bucks falling short in 123-122 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Lillard made 4 threes, upping his total made threes to 2,561. Only Steph Curry, Ray Allen and James Harden have made more than Lillard.

British boxer, Anthony Joshua was in complete dominance as he produced an impressive display in the heavyweight clash against former MMA fighter, Francis Ngannou. Last month, Jurgen Klopp shocked the football world after announcing his decision to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. However, not only fans were shocked at this news, but also his players. Liverpool forward, Mohammed Salah has disclosed that the news came as a huge surprise to him. According to the Egyptian, they had all had a meeting earlier and with his agent present, he believed the coach was signing a new contract. Liverpool are reportedly in talks with former player, Xabi Alonso to replace the German next season.
