Los Angeles Clippers sign Kawhi Leonard on a contract extension.
Two time NBA champion, Kawhi Leonard has just signed a three year contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, in a deal worth a whopping $152.3 million. Kawhi, despite his injury woes, remains one of the franchise’s most consistent players, averaging 24 points per game this season. Sources note that the deal will see him receive $52 million in his first year and $50 million, over each of the next two years. The contract will not include a player option, but reportedly has a 15 percent Trade kicker.
