On Monday, the album sales blog Chart Data confirmed the first-week sales for Ice Spice’s latest album, “Y2K! “ According to the tweet, the New York rapper’s debut album debuted at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 28,000 equivalent album units between July 26 and August 4. While these numbers don’t match her previous achievements, with four top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, Ice Spice has taken to social media to express immense gratitude for her progress since her first EP, “Like..?” in 2023. “Like..? did 15k so thank u to everyone who supported me then & thank u to all the new supporters,” she stated, noting that her first project debuted at No. 37 in 2023. She also shared excitement about her “Y2K! WORLD TOUR,” highlighting the enthusiastic crowd at her Boston show.
