Rema criticizes all the newly-formed Afrobeats sub genres during rant on X.
Global superstar, Rema continues to be one of the biggest representatives of Afrobeats at a time when many Nigerian artists are disassociating themselves from the genre. Recall him urging Nigerian artists to show up for the Nigerian music awards during last year’s Headies? He has again taken a jab at his colleagues who continue to associate their music brands with sub genres under the Afrobeats umbrella. New “Karate Kid” movie has now been delayed until May 30, 2025.
Following the monumental success of TV series, “Cobra Kai” on Netflix, Sony Pictures announced that a new “Karate Kid” movie will be out in the theatres on December 13, 2024. The highly anticipated movie which features Jackie Chan, Ralph Macchio, Ben Wang and Ming Na-Wen will however be delayed until May 20, 2025, five months away from its initial release date. Fans have since noticed that Jaden Smith, who starred in the first and acclaimed “Karate Kid” movie will not be making an appearance in this new film.
