New Pirates of the Caribbean film has been confirmed to be a reboot.

Popular adventure movie franchise, Pirate of the Caribbean is set to be on our screens again since its last release, “Dead Men Tell No Tales” in 2017. However, it seems some of the actors will not be present for the next release, with the film producer teasing a reboot. Jerry Bruckheimer, in an interview with Comicbook.com, revealed plans to reboot the franchise. With this comment, fans of the franchise are guessing that Jonny Depp will not be returning.

SZA reveals her next release, “Lana” will be remade from scratch.

Amid the controversy around her recently leaked music, RCA star, SZA has disclosed that she plans on remaking the songs off her deluxe album “Lana” from the start. Over the last month, the “Snooze” singer went on in a social media post to discuss 3 upcoming songs being leaked, vowing to bring the perpetrators to justice. With the deluxe set to release later this year, SZA noted that she would round up the leaks. In news regarding those responsible, SZA revealed that RCA has investigated the team and no record of any wrongdoing was found, concluding that the perpetrators were hackers.

Timothèe Chalamet signs a multi year acting & directing deal with Warner Bros.

Hollywood star, Timothèe Chalamet has signed a multi-year deal with production company, Warner Bros, following the immense success of “Wonka” and “Dune 2”. Although the terms of the contract was not published, he would be collaborating with the company both as an actor and as a director. This however does not mean that Timothèe can only work with Warner Bros but the company will have the first rights.

Kehlani shares teaser for her upcoming single, “After Hours”.

American singer and songwriter, Kehlani is gearing up for a new single release, her first release since 2022 album, “Blue Water Road”. The new record, “After Hours” was previewed via her TikTok account on Monday, with catchy “We don’t gotta take it slow, I’ma hit the gas if you’re ready to go” lyrics. The song appears to have sampled Nina Sky’s 2004 hit song, “Move Ya Body”. Whilst the release date remains unknown, Kehlani also hinted at a potential album release at a later date this year.

Omah Lay’s “Boy Alone” becomes 2nd most streamed album on Boomplay.

Omah Lay’s debut album, “Boy Alone” has attained the classic status in the Nigerian music industry. The album which was released in 2022 has become one of Nigeria’s most streamed albums of all time, spawning hits like “Soso” and “Attention” with Justin Bieber. The album has just hit over 427 million streams on Boomplay, surpassing Burna Boy’s “Love, Damini” to become the second most streamed album of all times on the platform.
