Mamelodi Sundown defeats Wydad AC to win first African football league.

South African football club, Mamelodi Sundown has emerged as winners of the inaugural African Football League, after defeating Morocco league side, Wydad Casablanca in the second league of the competition’s final which held at Loftus Versfeld. Mamelodi Sundown had trailed 2-1 in the first leg of the finals in Casablanca and sealed the win with a 2-0 victory in the second leg. This competition spells the efforts of the African football federation at creating its own super league. This inaugural edition was earlier scheduled as a 24-club league but was later changed to an eight team knockout competition to be held in six weeks. With the success of this tournament, there are indications that the super league will further improve.

Dua Lipa heaps praises on Kevin Parker ahead of her new project.

With the release of her new single, “Houdini”, Pop sensation, Dua Lipa has just confirmed that her new project is in the works and will be released soon. In an interview with Triplej, she confirmed that Tame Impala band member, Kevin Parker was one of the major collaborators and co-producer on the forthcoming album. Dua Lipa referenced Tame Impala’s “Current” project as one of her favourite albums of all times, as it completely changed her life. She also disclosed that Kevin Parker had always been one of her dream collaborators. The coming project is yet to be titled and no release date but fans are hoping that it will be released soon.

Liverpool star, Mo Salah has been on fire this season. With ten goals and four assists, he has led his team to eight premier league wins out of twelve and presently second in the league standing, one point below Manchester City. Recall that Saudi Arabian side, Al-Ittihad placed a world record £215 million bid on him during the summer transfer window but Liverpool rejected the offer immediately. The Egyptian forward came up clutch again in Liverpool’s clash with Brentford, scoring two goals in their 3-0 win. Real Madrid’s star forward, Vinicius Jr. has been hugely criticized for his inconsistent performances this season. However, the Brazilian seems to be picking up his form. After a goal and assist in Wednesday’s Champions League match against Braga, he scored another brace on Saturday, as Real Madrid defeated Valencia 5-1 in the La Liga. Over the years, speculations about a young Avengers project have rocked the MCU universe. Marvel has just confirmed in newly released movie, “The Marvels” that the young Avengers project is in the works. While established superheroes continue to be the face of the MCU, the franchise is already working to inculcate young superhero characters. There has been a host of new characters included since the start of phase four, including Ms Marvel, Hulkling and Wiccan. Out of these new characters, only Ms Marvel, Kate Bishop and Cassie Lang have been confirmed to be a part of the young Avengers in the future.
