Last weekend was filled with lots of dramas across different Seria A matches and one of the spectacular moments occurred in AC Milan win over Genoa. In the 1-0 thriller, AC Milan’s goalkeeper, Mike Maignam was sent off in the dying minutes of the match and with all substitutions used, the Frenchman took up the goalkeeping duty for the last minutes of the game, making a good save which allowed the club to secure three points and a clean sheet. Giroud’s heroics have not gone unnoticed, as he has been added to this week’s Serie A team of the week as a goalkeeper.

Perhaps one of the greatest players of his generation, Eden Hazard announced his retirement from football at age 32, after 16 years and over 700 matches played. The forward etched his name as one of the best players in the premier league while at Chelsea. However, his dream move to Real Madrid was riddled by consistent injuries. Regardless, Hazard has dominated football, winning various trophies and personal accolades, including multiple Premier league player of the season.
