Afrobeats star, Davido has enjoyed a hugely successful year, since the release of his album, “Timeless”. He has gone on to perform at some of the biggest world stages, including the Premier League Fans Award show. He is now set to co-headline the Hot 97’s Summer Jam festival in America with the likes of Doja Cat, Offset, Sexyy Red, 41 and Tee Grizzley. The festival is scheduled to be held on June 2nd, 2024 with tickets going on sale on Friday, March 22nd.

Timothèe Chalamet breaks 45 year old Hollywood record after “Dune”.

With the success of “Dune: Part Two”, Timothèe Chalamet is now being regarded as the new king of the box office. He has become the first actor since John Travolta to have two top-grossing movies in the box office within the space of eight months, breaking the 45 year-old record. TikTok records user growth stagnation in the US for the first time.

Popular video and streaming application, TikTok is presently in a hard situation with its United States’ market. After the legislative bill to ban the app in the country for its Chinese affiliation, the company has recorded its first ever user growth stagnation in the country, due to its licensing disagreement with Universal Music Group (IMG), which has led to the removal of a significant amount of songs owned by artists signed to the music label. Users being unable to access some of these popular songs has now stunted the app’s growth and it remains unknown, if an agreement will be stuck between both parties.

“Euphoria Season 3” set to commence filming in the next two months.

Popular HBO TV series, Euphoria has become one of the biggest shows. Projecting the life of students navigating sex, drugs and violence, the show which features big stars like Zendaya, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer, is set to commence filming for its third season in the next two months. Earlier in January, the CEO of HBO revealed that the series’ creator, Sam Levinson was busy writing, and explaining that the delays were as a result of having to conform to certain schedules. However, new information from GQ has now confirmed that the much awaited season three is set to start filming and fans have expressed their joy at this news.
