Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” re-enters the Billboard World albums chart.
One of Nigeria’s classic albums, Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” continues to break global records. The 2020 released project is the second longest charting Nigerian album of all time on the Billboard top 200 albums chart. Four years after its release, “Made in Lagos” has re-entered the Billboard World albums chart at number 14. Charting every year since its release, the album has extended its lead as the longest charting African album on the chart with 134 total weeks.

Ye confirms Ice Spice’s verse for “New Body” ahead of Vultures Vol.2 release.
After Nicki Minaj failed to clear her verse on fan favourite collaboration, “New Body”, it seems Ye is still insistent on using the song. After rumours circulated about plans to replace Nicki’s verse with either of Ice Spice and Doja Cat, the rapper has in fact confirmed Ice Spice will be sending in a verse for the record. He however revealed that Ice Spice’s team will not let him use the verse. Many brands have continued to blackball Ye since his anti semitic comments and this looks to be just another collaboration thrown down the drain. Fans are hopeful that Doja Cat features on the track.

Former Fifth Harmony member, Camila Cabello has been rumoured to be releasing her new album soon. Her last album, “Familia” was released two years ago and the singer has since been quiet. After news of a potential reunion with her former group members stormed the internet, Camila is now set to release her fourth studio album. The album, which is reportedly titled “C,XOXO” is rumoured to be released on July 14. Reports are indicating that an official announcement is imminent.

Pop artist, Olivia Rodrigo is set to release the deluxe edition of her sophomore album, “Guts”. Announced during her Chicago United concert on Wednesday night, this version, named “Spilled” is set to feature five new tracks and will released on March 22nd. Afterwards, she took to her Instagram to also confirm this news, posting a photo of the new track list. Fans have shown great excitement at the upcoming release.

Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler to release new movie next year.
Filmmaker, Ryan Coogler is set to re-team with Michael B. Jordan for a new movie which is expected to hit theatres on March 7, 2025. Reports have revealed that Coogler is working on the script with its plot yet to be revealed. The film is described as a period thriller with anime influences which involves vampires. With filming set to commence in April, Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian will co-produce the movie. Coogler and Michael B. Jordan have worked together on previous projects, including “Creed” and Marvel’s “Black Panther”. This project will mark the duo’s collaboration with Warner Bros.
