9ice will release his new album, “Observatory” on April 26th.

Nigerian music legend, 9ice has been out of the mainstream for a while. The “Gongo Aso” singer decided to delve into politics in 2015 and has since found it hard to make it back into the limelight despite releasing multiple projects within this period. However, he has announced a new album, “Observatory” which is scheduled for release on April 26th. The album will include 10 songs with no guest features and fans are hoping that this new project finally enjoys mainstream success.

Davido partners with UnitedMasters to launch his own label, Nine+.

Afrobeats star, Davido has just announced the launch of his new music label, Nine+ Records in partnership with American music distribution company, UnitedMasters. This comes as a surprise to many, especially with his DMW Records still actively running. One of the members of Davido’s PR team, explained that nine+ was inspired from his hit song, “Stand Strong”, alluding him as an industry old cat. Davido will take on a shared music executive role with UnitedMasters’ CEO, Steve Stoute in the new label.

American musician, Cash Cobain has just disclosed that a song with Frank Ocean might be coming anytime soon. The singer, speaking to Billboard winning April’s RnB/Hip Hop Rookie of the month, revealed that he was working with some of the industry’s greats including Drake and Frank Ocean. Ocean has not released an album since “Blonde” in 2016 and the news of potential new music from him has excited many fans who continue to expect a new project from the superstar.

Two months after her big announcement at the 2024 Grammy Awards, Taylor Swift has released her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department”. Announcing the release via her social media page, the American singer and songwriter wrote that she had “written so much tortured poetry in the past 2 years and wanted to share it with you all”. The new album includes 31 songs with features from Post Malone and Florence & The Machine.
