Real Madrid captain, Nacho Fernández has communicated his desire to leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season. According to reports in Spain, he opted to move away from the team, despite being offered a contract extension to remain at the club. The 34 year-old Spanish defender is Real Madrid’s longest serving player in the squad, spending a combined 23 years from the club’s youth academy and winning 24 trophies with Los Blancos including five Champions League trophies. Inter Milan have been alerted and might make a formal offer for the veteran defender.

Dutch midfielder, Frenkie de Jong has been one of Europe’s most sought after players over the last two years. The 26 year-old who signed for Barcelona in January 2019 from Ajax for €80 million, has been the club’s biggest earner. Currently, Barca are trying to resolve its economic crisis and are looking to sell some players. The club will put the Dutch midfielder on the transfer market in the coming summer transfer window, with hopes of getting €60-70 million from his sale.

Brazil midfielder, Casemiro made a surprise €70 million move to Manchester United after nine years with Real Madrid. However, the 32 year-old football star has revealed that he was close to cancelling the move.
