Borussia Dortmund star, Marco Reus has decided to call time with the Bundesliga club after a remarkable 12-year spell. In an emotional video, the club revealed that he will not extend his contract which runs out at the end of the season. Marco Reus has played 424 games for the Black and Yellows, scoring 186 goals, providing 128 assists and winning 2 DFB-Pokal cups. He also won the Bundesliga player of the year award 3 times, etching his name as not only a Borussia Dortmund legend but also a Bundesliga legend. While there are speculations about the German possibly retiring, sources are claiming that Reus will be looking for a new challenge elsewhere.

Jürgen Klopp says the issue with Mohammed Salah has been resolved.
Liverpool’s title hopes was dashed in their 2-2 draw against West Ham last week but more surprising was the touch line altercation between manager, Jürgen Klopp and Mohammed Salah. The forward sparked more reactions after his post match comment, where he said “If I speak today, there will be fire.” Ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Tottenham, Klopp has revealed that both parties have moved on from the altercation. In the pre-match press conference, he said, “it’s completely resolved, no problem between us. We respect each other, so it’s really no problem.” He also urged the media and general public to move on from the incident.

Real Madrid make contact with River Plate for talented midfielder.
Talented Argentine midfielder, Franco Mastantuono has caught the attention of many top European clubs due to his impressive performances with River Plate. Emerging reports are however suggesting that Real Madrid is now the frontrunner to sign the 16 year-old player. Rival, Barcelona were in pole position to sign him earlier but decided to cool off their interest. Madrid’s scouts believe that Mastantuono is a similar gem as Federico Valverde, who also joined the club from South America.

The Los Angeles Lakers dismiss head coach, Darvin Ham after 2 seasons.
Days after being eliminated from the playoffs by the Denver Nuggets, the Los Angeles Lakers have dismissed Darvin Ham from his role as head coach. Through two seasons, Ham held a 90-74 record, guiding the team to the Western Conference finals last season and winning the Play-in tournament. Announcing this decision, the Lakers’ President of Basketball Operations, Rob Pelinka noted that “while this was a difficult decision to make, it was the best course of action following a full review of the season.”

Dallas Mavericks defeats Clippers 114-101 to advance to the second round.
Kyrie Irving and Luka Dončić were clutch in game 6 to help Dallas Mavericks secure a 4-2 series win over the Los Angeles Clippers and qualify for the Western Conference playoffs semifinals. Dončić scored 28 points and 13 rebounds and Irving scored 28 of his 30 points in the second half of the game to give the Mavericks a 114-101 win over the Clippers. They will now face the Western Conference’s first seed, Oklahoma City Thunder in the next round.
